Question:
"I have previously learnt Basic Mandarin Chinese conversation elsewhere.
Can I go directly into the Intermediate Mandarin Conversation course?"
Answer:
"Maybe, but most probably, NO. Why? Because, in order to ensure the quality
of the Mandarin Chinese language courses we conduct, we have to make sure that
all our students go through the proper stages and levels, ie. each student
have to start from and successfully go through our
Basic Mandarin Chinese Conversation Course first.
That means, our Intermediate and Advanced Mandarin Conversation courses are NOT
open to the public. Only the BEST graduates from our Basic Mandarin Conversation
courses who qualify, can continue to those higher level courses.
As much as we would love to accept anyone who is interested in learning
the Mandarin Chinese language into our classes, we have to make sure that
those who want to join our Intermediate and higher level Mandarin Chinese language
classes have achieved the minimum requirement
(eg. level of proficiency in the Mandarin Chinese language) we have set.
By allowing only the graduates of our Basic Mandarin Conversation Course
who have qualified to continue to the Intermediate and Advanced courses,
we can ensure that the participants could cope and benefit from the courses.
On top of introducing and teaching you the Mandarin Chinese language,
most important of all,
our Basic Mandarin Conversation course gives you a solid foundation and structure
you could build on for the rest of your life. Whether you choose to continue to
the Intermediate or Advanced courses or not (if you qualify), it is up to you.
Once you have graduated from our Basic Mandarin Conversation course, you will
have such a strong foundation that you could actually continue learning the
Mandarin Chinese language on your own or from the people around you (eg. friends,
colleagues, neighbours, schoolmates, etc.)."

Our Basic Mandarin Conversation course gives you a very solid foundation
and structure you could build on for the rest of your life.
Yes, we will equipt you with a strong ability to learn the Mandarin Chinese
language for your whole life, whether you continue to learn on your own with
your friends or with us in the more advanced courses.

Question:
"What if towards the end of my Basic Mandarin Conversation course,
I do not qualify for my Intermediate Mandarin Conversation course?"
Answer:
"Frankly, that seldom happens (only less than 1% of our students who have
successfully graduated from our Basic Mandarin Chinese course, did not
qualify for the Intermediate class)."
Question:
"Ok, but what if I am that 1% who do not qualify to continue to the
Intermediate course?"
Answer:
"Well, if that is the case, you have nothing to worry about. Why? Because for any
student who does not qualify to continue to the Intermediate course upon graduation
from the Basic Mandarin Conversation course, we will arrange for he/she to re-attend
some or all of the lessons in the Basic course for FREE, for as many times
as necessary until he/she has fully mastered everything he/she needs to
and is ready to continue to the Intermediate course."
