"Which Mandarin Chinese Books or CDs Do You Use As Teaching Material?"

Answer:
"We do not use any Mandarin Chinese language books or audio / video medias available in the market. All our course materials are developed by our very own in-house Mandarin Chinese language consultants and researchers (in consultation with Chinese language professors and experts worldwide).

Why go through so much trouble to create our own teaching material for the Mandarin Chinese language? Why bother?

Won't it be so much easier for us to just choose some available books and teaching medias (since there are tons of them around) in the market for our teaching purpose?

Well, it is true that there are a lot of Mandarin Chinese language and conversation books and medias available in the market all over the world (in both conventional brick-and-mortar bookstores and also online bookstores), and they are of course a good source of reference, for both Mandarin Chinese language tutors and students. But unfortunately, not many of them are adequately suitable for use as teaching material though (and any truly experienced Mandarin Chinese language teacher worth his salt, will be able to see that clearly).

That's the reason why we need to research and develop our very own teaching material that is most suited towards the needs of teaching adults and also relevant to the current world. While ensuring that the fundamentals and essentials of the Mandarin Chinese language are taught, most important of all, we have to make sure that our teaching material must be effective to help our students to learn and master the language.

Much research has also been done on how adults learn and absorb knowledge and new information. We have also successfully identified all the problems that any adult might face when it comes to learning the Mandarin Chinese language and we actually inculcate methods to overcome them into our courses and teaching material."
