Good! I am able to speak better Mandarin, able to listen to what people
are saying in Mandarin conversations. Previously, I can only understand
little Mandarin, but after attending this course, I had improved my speaking
and listening skills.
Excellent! Most people may face the psychological barrier in learning Mandarin,
but Laoshi had worked hard to help us overcome it!
Every lesson Laoshi teaches us is useful, be it for now or the future.

EFFECTIVE, MOTIVATING & FUN!
One learns and retains the new words / sentence structure quite easily.
Sometimes you don't even realise that you already can understand 80%
of Mandarin Chinese conversation around you!
Laoshi is EFFECTIVE & EXCELLENT! Pushes & motivates the students to capture
the language, but at the same time treats you like an adult who knows
what your responsibilities are ie. does not nag / make you feel unworthy
of his class / time if you don't do the extra work / notes.

Very good approach and practical!
Laoshi is very helpful with any difficulty that students may have.
Teaching method is good, especially usage of historical origin
of words helps us to remember words.
Everything Laoshi taught us is useful.

It has been fantastic! Coming from the first batch of students and
stopping midway, I find rejoining the current class was a breeze and
hassle-free. I can still relate to my lessons even after being absent for
nearly 2 years.
Laoshi has really invested a lot of time and effort in ensuring his
students grasp and understand all the lessons. He is knowledgable and
seeks to maintain every lesson with fluidity where previous week's
lesson correlates with the current week's lesson. He also strives to
improve the lesson by introducing newer versions as deemed fit.
Laoshi has managed to strike a fine balance. Keep up the good work!

The courses have been very useful and informative for these reasons:
- It teaches me the correct way of speaking Mandarin using the "Han Yu Pin Yin"
- Now I know how to read Mandarin Chinese words by using the dictionary or
Laoshi's vocabulary notes without the need to know how to read Chinese characters.
In all, the courses give me confidence to speak Mandarin, knowing that I am
using the correct "Han Yu Pin Yin" pronunciation.
I like Laoshi's way of using blahblahblah for the tones and I hope that
one day Laoshi can produce a dictionary with blahblahblah indicating
the different tones. Laoshi has also make the lessons very interesting
in covering different aspect of the language, including the measure words,
proverbs and songs.

The Mandarin Chinese Language Conversation course fits the needs
of the students well. Laoshi delivers them in a simple
and easy to understand manner.
I've yet to see a better teacher than Laoshi.
Although I don't always write down every Chinese proverbs Laoshi
threw into the class, but I found them useful. Especially proverbs
concerning manners and etiquette and "you won't know what will
happen in the future" kind of thing. And also, Laoshi should wear
a pink flowery shirt!
