Hen3 Hao3! So far so good. I see "Laoshi" as a very good teacher and motivator. The way he uses to inject interest & passion into his students is awesome. Makes us come back for more. His scope of knowledge is very good, truly fit to be an awesome teacher. A teacher I will truly respect, admire and forever remember.

Very effective. His method of sharing his "xue2 wen4" (knowledge) and "jing yan4" (experience) is very good because he uses story-telling. Easy to remember, makes learning fun. He uses reverse psychology with his students, which is indirectly effective.

So far, it is good for me. It gives me a lot of information and basic guideline to talk Mandarin Chinese. I have more confident after I practice everyday.

Laoshi is a very good Laoshi and I think he knows what most students want from him. Eventhough, he always compares our class with his other classes, but it's good so that we know that we have competition.

I think everything is useful for our daily life.

Considering that I had zero knowledge / appreciation of the Mandarin language, this course has provided me with the ability to communicate with people or at least understand people I could not before (and to accomplish this in a relatively short time). I think the classes have been a very enjoyable and worthwhile venture. I look forward to lessons every week. To me it is more than just learning a new language, there is a multi-dimensional approach to teaching Mandarin at this course which I think has been very helpful in teaching me Mandarin.

I like how stories are used to illustrate a point or explaining a word; it makes it much easier to retain the information. It also gives further insight into Chinese culture and practices. I like how Laoshi will go out of his way to help us, it really shows he cares and enjoys teaching. This also makes learning more enjoyable. The advice / tips he gives us really does help in any attempt to learn this language.

To me, everything that has been taught has helped me grasp the Mandarin language better.

The course is good. It helps me a lot to know about the Mandarin Chinese language. I should really find more opportunities to practice. Maybe I could find a Chinese-speaking family to adopt me so I can talk more .. hehe.

No one can deny Laoshi is effective. His method is easy to understand. He can draw the attention of the class and the students have never a dull moment. If any of my friend wishes to take up Mandarin, I do not hesitate to recommend them to look for this Laoshi and his class or courses.

In my opinion, it's close to perfect for my approach to know Mandarin. It is not too difficult to follow, you can control the amount of your efforts by yourself. Besides the language, I learn a lot about the Chinese History and Culture, also about the Chinese people and their way of life. If one could invest only reasonable amount of time beside the class by practising Mandarin in 'real life', this course gives perfect basis.

Talking good about a teacher is rare, talking very good about a teacher is very rare - I can talk about my Laoshi extremely good. Whenever I lost hope, I was encouraged to move on again. If you don't learn enough, then it is the student's fault and not the teacher. The tools are given and explained in details. He knows more about Mandarin / Life / China than you would expect for a man his age.
